April 2010 - 3 Bedroom Oceanfront Pennsylvania
A perfect resort for a family! It was away from the tourist part of the island and had a beautiful beachfront, great layout and the rooms were enormous! We were literally on the beachfront with no obstructions to our beautiful view. Clean, tidy, friendly. Love this place. The General Manager even took us out one day to a great snorkeling spot. This is by far the best value for quality we've seen in the Caribbean. You can of course get cheaper rates in more developed islands, but nothing would compare to hear. Highly recommend!
February 2010 - One Bedroom Gardenview
Enjoyvacations web-site was easy to use so it was not hard to book our vacation on-line. Once that was done we needed to do other things like rent a car and find out about the snorkeling, so we gave them a call to book these. We found out we get a car with our room so we were very pleased about that. Information on Snorkeling and other excursions were sent to us and we decided to book a few. Better to get it out of the way before in my opinion, however the staff at the hotel are happy to help you book stuff you want to do.
Our room was great, not brand new but clean and we spent little time in it other than sleeping. We chose the gardenview because we knew we would be out on the beach as much as possible. The beaches here are so well taken care of, it shows that the people here know they are in a National Park, they treat the beaches like they are in their own back yard.
We drove to a great spot at Turtle Cove to do our own snorkeling (the trips take you further out in the ocean). Wow is what comes to mind, the ocean that day was calm and the tide low so we got to do a few reefs at Turtle Cove and the name lives up to it, we saw a turtle, a small one nonetheless but along with the sting ray and lobster we saw we were very happy to have done this trip on own our.
Turks and Caicos Island was the best vacation we have had in many years and will will go back again soon.

If you are looking for value for your money then this is the place to come and stay. You get a free car rental because the main part of the Island, Grace Bay is a 20 minute bumpy drive away. Roads like on many Caribbean Island is a second thought I guess. But we were very happy with the location because we wanted to relax for the most part. We used the car only 4 of our 7 day stay but it was nice to know we could use it when we needed to explore the Island. The weather was mixed, but when the sun was out it was beach for the whole day for us, the aqua water makes you want to stare at it for hours and that is just what we did.
The room was comfortable, you are getting value for this place so do not expect modern or new furnishing. The view form the room is absolutely amazing.
I actually read 4 books, I managed to pick up two from the local book store that has all the latest best sellers, they add about $2 to what you would pay at home. Grocery shopping however can be expensive so eating out can sometimes be worth the extra dollars, finding the local ex-pat hangouts is a must, we met some people from Canada living and working on the Islands and they give us some great tips. "Somewhere" restaurant a must on Thursdays, the food prices there are very reasonable and the live band is great. Danny Bouys pub, food simple and prices great. We played pool for hours with our new found friends. Conch Shack a must, it was on our way to town so we stopped off for lunch and watched whilst the conch came in and were taken out of their shells. You can give it a try if you know how to knock it out of there, we saw children being shown and then having a try. Our next visit we will probably stay in the Grace Bay area and hopefully our friends will still be living on this beautiful Island.

What a great resort. Mary and Mike are fantastic hosts and the property itself is beautiful. We were reluctant to go so far away from the main tourist area, but we found this NWP to be only 20 minutes drive away from Grace Bay Beach, in a very safe private location. The entire island seems very safe as compared with other Caribbean Islands anyway. We came to relax at a resort and if that is your goal, along as you have a beautiful beach, pool and accommodation you're all set and we surely were. The rooms were spacious and our two families had a great time relaxing on the beachfront balcony, cooking in the full kitchen and enjoying everything else on the property. Food at Sunset Grill was fantastic (I just love any dish with Conch) and the watersports; hobie cats, kayaks, snorkel gear were all free and we used them everyday. This was definitely one of my favorite places to visit in the Caribbean. The rates are unbelievable (40% off) and we received a free car rental and all because its 20 minutes away from the main tourist area. I cannot compare the value and quality here to anywhere else I have been. Absolutely recommend!
November 2009 - 2 bedroom Oceafront Vancouver, Canada
Our family had a wonderful holiday here for 10 days. This property is only 20 minutes away from Grace Bay Beach so we drove in several times for lunch and dinner at some local eateries - Da Conch Shack is fantastic for fresh conch, Tiki Hut was great for Rib night and my husband said he had one of the best steaks he's ever had, and our last night was at The Somerset's Lobster Bake which was unbelievable...on the beach, watched the sunset, bonfire, live music - a MUST!
The property is very well kept and although the furnishings are slightly older it is worth every penny as we think this place is excellent value for your dollar. The beach is gorgeous and our kids took the kayaks and snorkel gear out everyday while we relaxed on the beach loungers.
Not sure if we will come back as we like to try different properties but we have no problems recommending this place to our friends and family and any traveler looking for fantastic value!

We loved our stay at Northwest Point. It's a very beautiful resort and its location was in a pristine area with no other crowded resorts close by and the most wonderful stretch of beach we have ever seen. There was everything there we needed right there so we didn't need to leave. This being said the resort offeres car rentals on site if you wanted to explore the island which we would definitely recommend. Our family of 4 drove down to Taylor Bay one afternoon on the south side of the island which was amazing. It's a great beach for children because of the shallows waters. Our suites\ was perfect from the full kitchen facilities to the oceanfacing balcony and our kids loved the pool area. It was quite windy the whole time we were there but the breeze was actually quite pleasant and welcoming to us. We would not hesitate to recommend this resort to anybody looking for their own piece and quiet.
