March 2010 - 1 Bedroom Oceanview
We just returned from a trip, Turks and Caicos is a definite must in my mind. We had the most amazing stay. A family of four we stayed in the one bedroom Oceanview and it was great, the kids slept on the sofa pull out and we had plenty of room, although next time we would book the two bedroom, to give the kids more space and avoid anyone sleeping in the living area. It was great having the full kitchen for lunch and snacks as it can get to be a lot of money eating out all the time, so we went between restaurants and the room to eat. The Beaches are beautiful and we took the kids to Coral Gardens and Turtle Cove to do some snorkeling. We missed seeing the Turtle, some people just before us had seen the little guy but we did not get the chance. The Staff at the Alexandra are very welcoming and helpful in giving us information.

My daughter and I stayed at the Alexandra for one week. The resort exceeded my expectations! Of course, it is situated on one of the most stunning beaches one can imagine; however, the resort was another boon: spanking clean, excellent service, friendly staff, pretty, new & well-kept. Without a request, the manager upgraded our room, and although it's considered a garden view, we had a gorgeous view of the ocean as well. The Alexandra also has one of the island's best restaurant locations. Watching the sun-set from the restaurant's beach deck is an event I can never tire off. My vacation at the Alexandra was truly a week in Paradise. I usually don't like to return to a vacation spot, but this is one place I plan to see again... & again. Down-side: eating out on Turks and Caicos is an expensive affair. I ended up doing what many other tourists do, namely hitting the supermarket and having breakfast and/or lunch in the our room.

February 2010 - Studio Garden View
Great spacious room with everything we needed. The Beach was amazing with loungers and an endless supply of Beach towels. Hotel staff were great and ready to answer any of our questions. A little expensive to eat out every night, even though the restaurants are good. I would suggest booking a unit with a full kitchen that way you can cook some of the nights.

January 2010 - 1 Bedroom Oceanview Toronto, Canada
Great value for what we paid and got. We loved having the extra space, not staying in a hotel room as we normally do. Our room was comfortable the furnishings not new. We had the full kitchen which was a plus. The Ocean colors are out of the world, breathtaking to say the least. Went on a trip by Ferry to Middle/North Caicos. We picked the perfect day, up a bit earlier to catch the first Ferry out at 9am, you can arrange a car rental from the Ferry terminal for when you get over to Middle Caicos. The ferry ride was a bit bumpy because they go fast, but it was fun. Once we got there it took minutes to get the car and off we went. It takes about 40 minutes to get to the Beach and it is worth every minute. The views are stunning and the waves just right. We spent most of the day relaxing and then headed to see the caves. The guide will provide you with a flashlight if you want to look for bats, not my favorite part of the tour but my husband went looking up every hole he could find. The guide knew his stuff and it was a great tour. Then we headed back to catch the 4:30pm ferry, all in all it was a great day, don't forget to ask for a map when you get there as it can be a little hard to find the right spots.

We were so surprised when we arrived at the property. It was very quiet, and some work was being done but overall it was FANTASTIC value. The grounds are beautiful, the beach is perfect, room was basic and comfortable with a great oceanview. Not a complaint!

April 2009 - 2 Bedroom Luxury Beachfront Williston, Vermont
Received excellent service from the resort staff, formed a relationship with them over the stay as they genuinely cared. We loved the room! Beautiful view, location was perfect, amenities were great. The best part of our trip was the beach. It was gorgeous, we loved the Caicos Dream Tour that we took to see more of the sites, we also liked that we were in close proximity to the 5 star resorts to try their restaurants. Our main disappointment was that service was slow even when the restaurant was completely empty. We will however be returning - absolutely! Thank you for your help MyTurksandCaicos, it was a wonderful vacation.

April 2009 - 1 Bedroom Luxury Beachfront Calgary, AB
We spent most of our days taking in the sun and walking along the most beautiful beach. The gardens are beautiful and the white sand beach is exactly what the doctor ordered. I would recommend taking a walk at night time to the Palms which is right next door. We originally booked the 1 Bedroom Gardenview but decided on arrival to have a look at a beachfront room and there is a big difference. Luxury Suites are much more updated and have amazing views. I think we paid just over $100 additional a night and it was definitely worth it.

Slightly dated resort but cannot complain as we had a wonderful time. Great food at the restaurant that was 10% off and drinks! On Monday they had a Cookout on the deck which they do every week I think. It was really good. The company we booked through offered us a returning discount to any of the properties they represent so we are already looking for next year.

February 2009 - 1 Bedroom Oceanview Coconut Grove, FL
I thoroughly enjoyed my experience. I spent most of my time at the swim up bar drinking strawberry daiquiris. Ocean was a little chillier than I expected but the pool was heated and the Jacuzzi was of course great to warm up in. The Orchid restaurant was good for breakfast but I would recommend the Tiki Hut for dinner. Price was right and people there were very friendly and welcoming. Thanks Alexandra.

November 2008 - 1 Bedroom Oceanview Weston, MA
Tennis in the morning and spa in the afternoon! What more can you ask for : ) I found the rooms to be a good size with a nice balcony to read on. One thing to be careful of is that if you reserve an oceanview room it does not mean you get a full view of the ocean which was a little disappointing but not a huge deal. My husband and I spent most nights on the sunset dining deck enjoying the view during happy hour. After seven nights there I felt completely rejuvenated and a couple years younger.

March 2007 - Two Bedroom Luxury Beachfront Saratoga Springs, New York
The location of the Alexandra is ideal and on a wonderful stretch of beach. The accommodations were truly awesome with a fantastic view of the ocean. The two bedroom luxury suite was new and beautiful. Unfortunately, right next door, the construction of banging hammers and sawing was constant for our entire stay-from 7 AM to sunset. It is truly annoying to wake up to that each day and to try and watch the sunset with that noise each evening. The service was excellent at the Alexandra and housekeeping kept the room very clean. The weather was not very good but out of everyone's control of course, as we had three days of a total wash out with rain. The other days it rained every day and was overcast with some breaks of sun. The water was rough and the windy conditions kept the temperature cool. The water was also not warm. Overall, we might consider T & C again, but would be sure that a construction project was not right next door. If we were to choose this island again, we would be happy to use My Turks and Caicos again as long as you would provide us with the necessary information to make a better choice on location especially if construction is an issue. We were not able to enjoy the island as we would have liked to as our catamaran cruise and snorkeling excursion were both cancelled twice due to weather.
