Really enjoyed stay, even extended a day. Place/grounds are beautiful, room...excellent and most staff very courteous. Parallel23 food was excellent. Continental breakfast that was included was enough to start the day. Was my wife's birthday and they surprised us with cake in the room and some snacks on arrival. We were sans children but seemed like and excellent family place. Some areas for improvement (some out of their control)... Airport on arrival is chaotic at best, obviously noboby here has traffic control experience. Cabs fares are all over the map (ask first). Noise/party from adjacent 'club' was unbearable one night...screaming over music until 6am, no sleep. Get Beach cabana early but remember Staff clears your things fom cabana's/chairs if left unattended for over 1 hour. End result...Would come back. Book with My Turks and Caicos though, significantly less than Hotel direct.

We had an amazing trip. The resort is spectacular and the small things they do put it over the edge. The turn down service with a bottle of water on each night stand is a nice touch and only wish other resorts would take notice. The service overall was fantastic. The amenities are great especially the beach area - took advantage of non-motorized activities on the beach. A lot of fun. The island is great but not the typical hustling and bustling of a other islands that are also cruise destinations. I very much enjoyed this part but my wife was disappointed in the shopping opportunities. The beaches on the island are wonderful and worth exploring - need an SUV to get to some of the more remote areas. Restaurants that we experienced were superb - ranked as follows: 1. Coyoba 2. Coco Bistro's (close second) 3. Parallel 23 (Regent Restaurant - food was good but compared to the others the value was not there since they were slightly less expensive and quality of food was better) 4. Bay Bistro Cafe (only lunch, wish we had dinner since lunch was fabulous). The BBQ on Thursday by the pool was great. I would avoid Anacoana for dinner but definitely go for the infinity bar experience. Another place to avoid is the Tiki Hut. A few small negative comments. First, the concierge service at the resort is not the best. They are staffed with young professionals but not professional concierge. They are very helpful but not very informative and I doubt they have had the opportunity to experience what they are recommending (restaurants or other activities). AVOID going to North Caicos or Middle Caicos.

July 2010 - Two Bedroom Oceanview
We chose the Regent Palms because we were told it was a luxury property and it is by all means one of the nicest places we have vacationed in a long time. The "Island" service could be a little better, however the scenery sure makes up for a lot. Wow is what comes to mind when looking out of our Oceanview suite at the ocean. We spent most of our 5 day visit on the beach, the Regent has covered beach loungers that help block the sun, best invention yet. It was very quiet and peaceful, we hardly saw a soul during the time spent there. BBQ Thursday is a must, right beside the bar near the pool, delicious fresh food. We also tried the restaurant on-site, another must the food is fine dining at it's best. We also tried others on the Island but they did not match up to the hotel dining. We truly had a great time with our 2 older children, just what we were hoping for and that makes the cost of the entire trip worth it.

We liked the Regent Palms immensely! But the dining service was off a little. There were so many people working, but service was not smooth and we felt that waitstaff was slow and disinterested. From speaking with others - I guess this the "island way"! The penthouse was divine and we appreciate everything you did (Nenna) to arrange that for us...

Nenna, I just wanted to drop you a quick note to thank you so much for all of your helpful information. We had an absolutely wonderful time on this beautiful island. We could not get over the color of the ocean, perfect weather, quaint hotel and delicious restaurants. It was everything we wanted and much more! The spa at the Regent Palms was heavenly and truly the most relaxing experience I have ever had. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

November 2009 - 1 Bedroom Oceanfront North Vancouver, Canada
It took awhile to get here but the trip was worth it. Coming out of the airport we were greeted by a Palms rep and hopped on their private taxi transfer ($28pp return). As we stepped out of the van we were handed a cold towel, a fresh drink and asked to follow our host around the property and then to our room where we were checked in (this was a pleasant surprise after our travels). After a brief change we headed for the pool bar (our suite was ground floor next to the pool!!!) and ordered cocktails which we brought down to the beach and dreamed of our days ahead. Although we could see the beach from the living area it wasn't the best view but the fact that we stepped out our side door and took a few steps to the bar, pool and beach made it all worth it. The service here is far superior than any other property I have been at. We had constant service at the pool, beach and bar. The continental breakfast in the mornings had a good selection of fruits, pastries, cereals and other small bits. Lunch at Plunge was very reasonable and dinner although pricey was great. An overall great experience. I believe this property has it nailed down for Caribbean resorts.

Do not listen to the negative comments. This place is a wonderful getaway. Splurge and get the beachfront room. Why would you stay in a resort on the beachfront and not want a view of the beach!? The balconies are small but other than that we come back every year (third visit) and will keep coming back. The agent is really great at recommending things to do and restaurants, casual and fancy as she's been there many times.

A fantastic 5* resort! Service is great for a Caribbean resort with the staff over exceeding your expectations. The Spa is amazing, huge area and very fancy but I found the treatments to be mediocre. Originally booked a Luxury Room with an Oceanview that was not too pleasing and was showed a 1 Bed Suite on the Oceanfront. Wow! I highly recommend the Oceanfront Suite! It is a large unit with lots of living space that overlooks the beautiful beachfront. My husband called up to me several times from the beach to our room while I was lounging on the balcony with a glass of wine in hand. Can't complain. Will be coming back for sure!

Stayed in the basic room that we found to be very spacious and welcoming. The beds are as comfy as they can get and the resort itself is very clean, luxurious and the staff are there in a moments time to help you with anything. The beach service is great as well as the restaurant, although very pricey but can definitely see why as this is one of the top resorts I've stayed in around the Caribbean.

February 2009 - Luxury Garden View New York, New York
Couldn't decide between certain Carib Islands but spoke with a helpful lady at my turks and caicos who sold me on The Palms. This room is great value for what you normally pay in the Caribbean. We stayed 7 nights and received one free which is great for this time of the year when it's usually very busy. We rented a car on the first day and later found out that it would have been easier just renting from the resort. There aren't many sites to see, but we did visit Northwest point, isolated but beautiful stopping at Smokey's for lunch, a great local place recommend to us. We went to Chalk Sound another day and that was worth it as the beaches are amazing and stretch out for miles in shallow waters. Bring a dingy and float your troubles away! A lovely Island that we are coming back to with friends!

An over-the-top fancy and expensive place. I love it and so did my kids. The beaches here are truly amazing, with soft powder sand and the most beautiful waters. This was a pricey vacation for us but worth every penny. We are definitely coming back next year and although I dream of coming back to the Palms I think we will be staying at the neighboring resort Alexandra or something along those lines. I also heard The Sands was great since their renovations.

We had a great experience at The Regent Palms. If we decide to travel again to the Turks and Caicos islands, I would choose My Turks and Caicos for booking as we enjoyed our whole trip.

I thought that the hotel was very beautiful but I definitely feel that there were some touch points that The Palms Hotel was missing. I didn't feel like the service was up to par for a 5 star hotel. I thought the food by the pool was not good and didn't have a wide variety of choices. There was nothing on that menu that was that healthy. I also thought it took a while to get service at the pool. The spa was nice but I didn't think some of the help there was that accommodating. The steam shower was also broke for 3 days. That should of been taken care of right away. I thought that My Turks and Caicos did a great job booking my trip and were very sweet when I had to change my trip to the following day. I would definitely book my trip with My Turks and Caicos but I will say that I wouldn't stay at the Palms again.

The quality of our accommodations exceeded my expectations. The Palms was extremely accommodating for everything that we needed. My Turks and Caicos staff was helpful with booking and answering questions. I hope to return to the island and will probably book with My Turks and Caicos again.

This is the second time we stayed at the Palms, the 5th time at the Turks, but the first time using your service for reservations. Your service was great and the Palms could not be more pleasant. I had my family, two daughters, one 2 year old, one son-in-law, and my wife and everyone had the best time. My Turks and Caicos did a great job and answered all my questions.

We had an amazing and wonderful time. My Turks and Caicos staff was great, a pleasure to work with, very accommodating, knowledgeable and organized. The only thing that seemed a bit questioning to the hotel is that we were not provided airport vouchers. We would definitely return and hope we can next year. Many Palms staff made our trip a memorable one: the service is impeccable and we can't stop talking about it. Thanks again. Love all the little touches, like mints on pillow, cookies, water and fruit!! Keep up the great work.

The hotel was quite beautiful, however we had a major ant problem in our room. They came and sprayed the first day. The next morning they were everywhere again. They told us there were no rooms available. We asked for a larger room and was told we would have to pay for an upgrade. Very frustrating. They eventually found a comparable room and the rest of the stay was excellent.

The service end of the vacation provided by your agency was perfect. The vacation itself was great, we had a wonderful time. The weather was perfect and the accommodations top notch. This was the second time we stayed at the Palms and the accommodations were the same as last time, but with the sale of the resort to Regency, there were numerous additional little things done which put it over the top. We do plan on making our trip to Turks and Caicos a yearly event.

The level of service and amenities is fantastic, the food at the restaurant great and we very much enjoyed the beach and pool clubs. Regarding our room, better than expected, small and cozy but was very nice and enough for both of us actually. We are looking forward to going back soon!!!
