May 2010 - One Bedroom Gardenview Suite Chicago, USA
Arrival: Was a little disappointed with arrival outside the airport as representative selected a driver that was playing loud music the whole way, charged extra for a golf bag, and was not very helpful. As for arrival at the resort it was fantastic the staff were very friendly, helpful, and had alot of great information. Enjoyed the dining at O'Soleil as well as the surrounding restaurants. However, as good as the food was I thought it was very expensive and didn't realize until I left that my wife and I spent over $1000 in food for 5 days for just the two of us. Best part of the trip was it was very relaxing there were not alot of people trying to solicit on the beach and when we advised we were not interested in what they were selling they left us alone immediately. April 2010 - One Bedroom Oceanview Suite: Stirling House NYC
We (2) Wonderful experience : room. climate, staff, services, and more. My only drawback relates to the dining room restaurant which is poorly located in the garden side of hotel without ocean view or breeze, and which makes me hesitant to recommend dinning there. Food at other restaurants, 5 out of 6 nights was superb and atmosphere for late night was fun and you can make more of it than you think.

Oooh we fell in love here. Our agent recommended the Estate Villa Suite which turned out to be the perfect choice to celebrate our 10th anniversary. Everything about this resort is luxury. The detail in the suite was beautiful, the en-suite bath was almost as big as the room and the balcony wrapped around the building. Absolutely no complaints with food, service, beach...nothing! It was perfect!

Great Christmas vacation. After flight delays we were so happy to be on the beach to relax. The view from our suite was fantastic, we had everything we needed staying at the Somerset. Top class service and the people are there to make you stay very enjoyable. Try the restaurant at the hotel it is very good. We went on the sunset cruise and loved it, so romantic a must do in my opinion. We booked it once we got there but would recommend booking it before because there were not many spots left when we did book it. myturksand caicos did tell us before to book it but we weren't sure what day we wanted to go. All in all we had a great time and will come back.

We decided to get away before the Xmas show down at home, we have lots of family visiting then. myturksandcaicos helped us book our trip and made it easy and quick. We ended up choosing the gardenview and it turned out to be a great choice. The Oceanview suites will probably be where we stay next time we visit. What a great holiday and we relaxed all of it. What a beautiful property and the staff are there to take care of you. Our suite had all the amenities we needed, we often did not make to to the free continental breakfast, we made an early lunch in the fully equipped kitchen. Turks and Caicos is all that we imagined it to be and we will be back very soon.

I loved it. Beautiful place and the food was amazing. My favorite dish at O'Soleil was the Seabass - out of this world. Will be back for sure.

March 2009 - 1 Bedroom Oceanview Villa Estates Saratoga Springs, NY
At full capacity, we barely saw anyone while walking through the resort. The suite was beautiful and private with the largest balcony I've seen for a 1 bedroom suite. This was a surprise for my husband but also surprised me. We had an entire floor to ourselves, a private Jacuzzi on the patio and although not in the building overlooking the beach it had great views looking out to sea. Beach is to die for. The water is truly the most beautiful colors and the ocean so shallow and warm, you can really enjoy being in it. Infinity pool--lovely and warm, restaurants and food--exciting and full of taste, staff (I was really concerned about this from past reviews)--very gracious and efficient. Our snorkeling trip with Big Blue was great fun with large, colorful fish and coral to see. The only downside was the mosquitos. We went out to another resort one night for dinner where our friends were staying, Point Grace, and were covered in bites that evening. We look forward to returning someday--truly relaxing and luxurious trip.

Website is a great resource for information but Nenna was very knowledgeable of everything on the island and recommend The Somerset's Villa as one of her top choice in suites. We went with it and even though were given all the details for the suites and the resort, we were still blown away. It was absolutely wonderful! An entire floor with a wrap-around balcony and a Jacuzzi to top it all off. My sister and I spent 4 nights here and another 4 in St.Croix. Nenna also helped us find accommodation there as well at Carambola resort which was definitely not as high end as The Somerset but truly a lovely resort with great people which is exactly what we were lookinf for. She is helping us plan my daughters wedding later this summer in Biras Creek in the British Virgin Islands as most of our family is travelling from the UK. Do not hesitate to call these people, very knowledgeable for travel agents. Thanks Nenna!

February 2009 - Standard Garden View Room Portsmouth, Rhode Island
If you are looking for a modern hotel with beautiful views and beach front property I would recommend The Somerset. All of the staff were very friendly and always helpful. We had amazing dinners at O'Soleil restaurant and light snacks during the day at the pool bar. Our room was exactly what we asked the agent to find, simple, small but nice as we spend most of our time outdoors.

The rooms (at The Somerset) were well maintained and we will definitely be returning. The quality and level of service from My Turks and Caicos staff was very helpful and we will be booking (with My Turks and Caicos) again.

Accommodations were superb and service excellent from start to finish. The level of service from My Turks and Caicos staff was excellent, however some of the services you told us about were actually available through the hotel; everything else we found out through the concierge who was very helpful. We'd like to come back again!
