February 2011 - Two Bedroom Oceanfront London, Ont
We will recommend the Windsong to anyone visiting Provo island. we have stayed on Grace Bay Beach several times and consider ourselves to be seasoned world travelers and we can honestly say that this resort is one of the nicest we have stayed in. My husband and I traveled with another couple who were equally impressed. The decor was very Caribbean and the staff were most wonderful. We preferred the fact that the resort isn't full service as we felt that it gave us our own space and distance. Simply a wonderful wonderful resort.

April 2010 - Studio
Just returned from the Turks and Caicos Island and what a gem. We knew little about it but we were pleasantly surprised. A small Island filled with the most amazing beaches, it takes your breath away. The staff were great and very helpful. We stayed in a Studio and it served us our needs, cozy with a few amenities like, microwave, fridge and coffee maker. There is no balcony but that was ok, we were steps away from the beach and great snorkeling.

If you are not worried about your budget then the Windsong is the place to stay. You will not be disappointed in the room especially the large windows that open onto the most beautiful view I have seen. The Beaches there are white and very clean. We snorkeled just outside and down the beach at Turtle Cove. Restaurants are quite pricey but very good, we went to Parallel23 at the Regent Palms, Coyoba, Coco Bistro and then a couple of local places all in the Grace Bay area, you need to take a taxi as it is too far to walk. We loved Grace Bay for the small stores, they had some very nice chic stores with souvenirs to take home for friends.

January 2010 - One Bedroom Den Oceanfront New Jersey, NY
I just returned from spending my 50th birthday with seven family friends at the Windsong. It is a beautiful resort and we had an amazing ocean view from our unit. The staff was wonderful - Regina, George, Charles, Shequida, Samuel, Alicia and both Jimmy's (father and son). Sorry for any names I have forgotten. When you stay at an establishment like the Windsong it raises your expectations. Most were met, but there are definitely areas for improvement: 1) The check-in process needs more efficiency. This trip was booked months in advance, so our rooms should have been ready when we arrived. I appreciate that one room was upgraded to an ocean view one-bedroom. Considering that not many people were staying at the resort an upgrade for the other room would have been nice. 2) Along with check-in we were told that we needed to have a $100 a night hold put each room's credit card for incidentals. We should have been aware of this before our arrival. Thankfully it was worked out. 3) The pool was ice cold. I never saw anyone swimming in it and within 5 minutes after I got in it I knew why. A heated pool is a must in January when the temperatures are 75-80. (the Jacuzzi on the other hand was fabulous) 4) We had an ongoing problem with making outgoing calls from our room phone. Several staff tried to fix it and we were promised a new phone, but never received one. A bit frustrating. 5) Not the resorts fault, but a cruise booked on Sail Provo was cancelled due to the weather and never rescheduled. We saw other boats out on the following days, so I'm not sure what happened. A little disappointing. Other notes - Be prepared to spend lots of money - nothing is inexpensive. Prices are double in the supermarket due to everything needing to be imported. The continental breakfast at the resort was very nice. The food and atmosphere at Magnolia was wonderful. Tiki Hut was not very good. If you're a beach person (as I am) you'll love it, but it you're looking for lots to do you may not. There's really nothing to see that doesn't require a taxi or excursion. A final shout out to Lorenzo - the best taxi service on TCI

August 2009 - 1 Bedroom Oceanfront Vancouver, WA
Wow! If you can squeeze some room in your budget, make sure you get the oceanfront room. The sliding glass door opens up so the kitchen and living area has the warm Caribbean air coming in. I've stayed at the Westin and Four Seasons in other cities who rave about their beds...and the Windsong has them beat. I even slept through our alarm! If I could, I would have bought the sheets they use. Great relaxing place to stay, not many people around except for the staff. Kiyana (spelling may be wrong( was great and always there even if it was just to talk about great places to eat and where we were from!

OMG! If your looking for some wow factor this is the place to stay! I'm 52 years old, 45 countries, so far, 10-12 islands, and this place is no joke. While there we took a look at the others, and if your going to this island, this is the place to stay. The staff and ownership is wonderful. Couldn't have been more accommodating. Need anything, go anywhere, just ask Charles, you'll understand when you get there. We took his recommendations, and he hooked us up every night with a different place, and had great meals every time. Stayed five nights, just wish we could have stayed longer.

June 2009 - Luxury Gardenview Raleigh, North Carolina
Booking agent - Good One complaint was being misled on meal cost. I would inform people an ave. lunch is $30-40 and dinner to budget for $80-100 (no alcohol). This is out the door budget with 10% tax and 15% tip included. Accommodations- Pros - room as represented (although the room key and phone didn't work) Cons - The only non motorized water sports included bikes paddle boat and kayak. The snorkeling was an extra cost. No sailing of any sort available. No pool music as described on the website. Service Very good - Charles did a great job! Breakfast was basic no eggs pancakes etc. Lunch - basic chicken or burger Highlight -snorkeling. The reef in front of the hotel was amazing. We snorkeled everyday. Return - Yes (not to this resort but the Turks.) I think it is too removed from the main part of grace bay. I was mandatory to take a taxi to all dinners shopping etc.

May 2009 - One Bedroom Oceanfront Miami, FL
My husband and I just returned from a 4 night stay at the Windsong. It was beautiful and the service was exceptional. Our view was breathtaking from the balcony. The room was very spacious, high end appliances from kitchen appliances to our Bose I-pod dock. One of the perks was that the property has an employee on site to drive you anywhere you would like to go.......saves much money on cab fares, not to mention what a wonderfully friendly, nice man he was. We enjoyed Hemingways and Coco Bistro. The resort was exactly what we were looking for in a calm, relaxing long weekend in an affordable luxury setting.

April 2009 - 1 Bedroom Gardenview Princeton, New Jersey
We were very impressed with the Windsong Resort. Both the hotel and the level of service was outstanding. Located on a beautiful and quiet part of Grace Bay beach which was perfect for us. Amazing snorkeling right off the beach and plenty of opportunities for further exploring. We walked down to Turtle Cove Marina one afternoon which took us well over an hour but we had a great seafood lunch at Aqua. The beach was not crowded at all which added to the wonderful atmosphere of this quaint island. The food was fantastic everywhere we went and there were some great restaurants to chose from very close to resort, Simba at Turks and Caicos Club was one of our favorites. Our suite was very high end and very new. The bedding was plush and fabulous. It's a shame these suites do not have balconies but the price does reflect this. We spent most of our time out of the suite anyhow. One downfall of the island was the lack of culture and social life. There weren't any sites to see or any real places of interest unless we completely missed them. We normally like to have a few drinks in a lively setting and the bar at Grace Bay Club was as social as it got. We did come for a quiet break so it did work for us this time and I would not hesitate to recommend this resort for anybody looking for a serene setting with luxurious amenities.

March 2009 - 1 Bedroom Oceanfront SanAntonio, TX
This was our second trip back to Provo. The first time we stayed at The Sands which we heard had a big refurbishment but we like to try new resorts. We were very impressed with our suite which had amazing views of the beach and ocean. It was very spacious and luxurious. The beach is just amazing. We really enjoyed that this resort never got too crowded and we were made to feel at home with the great service and hospitality. A great new find for us in our budget!

March 2009 - 2 Bedroom Oceanfront Sussolk, Virginia
We have just returned from a weeks stay at the Windsong resort. The whole experience exceeded our expectations and we were simply blown away by the beach. There is amazing snorkeling available right off the beach which has powder for sand and crystal clear waters. The food at each restaurant we went too was of very high standards (Parallel 23, Anacaona, Coco Bistro). Besides dinner we stayed in to cook in the wonderful kitchen facilities that I would love to have in my own home! There is a large grocery store not far away where you can buy anything you need. It is slightly costly but you are on a tropical island where everything is flown in, as we were explained. Our room was lovely and spacious with wonderful views of Grace Bay. We are already looking forward to returning to the Windsong next year.
