Take your family on an adventure and scout out one of the Top 5 Family Friendly Beaches in the Turks and Caicos Islands.. All beaches are free and public by law, so although you may feel like you are on a private beach with little or no crowds rest assured you are welcome to be there!
#1 Taylor Bay Beach / Sapodilla Bay Two coves on the south part of Provo, close to several Villas, these two beaches have been kept a secret for years and remains one of the least populated beaches around. Tranquil shallow waters, perfectly calm and is known as the ‘children beach’, where you can touch the bottom for 200 feet out from the shore. One of Turks and Caicos Islands most charming beaches.
#2 Chalk Sound Only a short drive to see the most beautiful turquoise waters will be well worth it. Not really a beach but a shallow lagoon area in-land where you can rest, kayak or sit at Las Brisas restaurant to enjoy their eclectic menu and amazing cocktails.
#3 Long Bay Beach Accessible by several walking paths from the Long Bay Hills Road, you will find 3 beautiful miles of beachfront on which to lounge, kite board, or horseback. On hot days the breeze down here on the southeast shore is a welcome.
#4 The Bight A less populated part at the West end of Grace Bay Beach is The BIght. Access through a parking area where you can find a children’s playground and restrooms. A great snorkeling spot!
#5 Leeward Beach A hard to-get-to beach, as the roads are not being maintained up near the East part of Leeward, however you can walk up along Grace Bay Beach to get here! A fantastic spot to look out onto the Grace Bay Beach area from afar.
