TOP 5 LUXURY TURKS AND CAICOS HOTEL DEALS
It’s the perfect time to visit the Turks and Caicos Islands (TCI) over the next few months as it’s considered off season and the rates drop considerably from the winter months. Along with lower rates, there are also some fantastic promotions which you’ll want to take advantage of before it becomes busy again. Saying that, it never reeeeeeeally gets busy in TCI. Even when Turks and Caicos resorts are full during the Holidays, you can always find a spot by the pool or a lounger on the beach. None of that, “lay your towel down by 6am to reserve a spot” drama. The biggest problem you are likely to face on your trip is prior to booking… which resort to choose???
Here are our Top 5 Luxury Hotel Deals for this summer.
1. Seven Stars Resort
This resort ticks off all the right boxes; great location, luxury amenities, lavish suites, and the best prices within the 5 star resort range. Locally owned and managed, the staff here really do care and take the utmost care of you during your stay.
Why we love it?
The four poster beds. We have been told by our travel staff and guests that these are the most comfortable beds they have slept in by far.
It’s pretty much the most central resort in the Grace Bay area. Gourmet Grocer is just across the street where you can find delicious deli meals, a great wine selection and any little bits and pieces you may have forgotten at home. Great restaurants, shops and art galleries are all within walking distance.
Included in your rate:
Daily buffet breakfast, unlimited bottled water, pool and beach service, non-motorized water-sports (kayaks, Hobie Cats, snorkel gear) and exceptional service from their amazing staff.
Rates from: $369 per night, double occupancy
2. The Palms Turks and Caicos
Formerly part of the Regent brand, the resort decided to part ways last year and has been as successful as ever. With many accolades to its name; Gold List Conde Nast, #1 Resort in TCI, Leading Resort World Travel Awards, and many more, it’s no surprise that our good friend, Karen Whitt (General Manager) has also been collecting awards since her start in 2011. It really is a leading resort in the Caribbean and a model of elegance and opulence in the luxury travel world.
Why we love it?
The Spa. With just as many awards as the resort itself, it is one of the leading spas in the Caribbean. You can’t go wrong with 25,000 square feet of pure relaxation in private cabanas or your own Zareeba hut.
When we heard of the million dollar infinity pool years ago, we were already hooked. Whether you choose to have a drink from the swim up pool bar (where we have mingled with the occasional celebrity) or the adults-only beachfront patio section, be sure to end your day in the beachfront hot tub watching the sunset with a cocktail in hand.
Included in your rate:
Daily full American buffet breakfast, unlimited bottled water, pool and beach service, non-motorized water-sports (kayaks, Hobie Cats, snorkel gear) and access to the Spa facilities.
Rates from: $449 per night, double occupancy
3. West Bay Club
As sister property of Grace Bay Club (yet another top luxury resort we could have easily put on this list), West Bay Club offers almost all the same amenities but with a lower price point, hence their positioning on our list.
Why we love it?
The price. You simply can’t beat their lead in room rate and all the amenities that it comes with. It’s a small basic studio but still has a King bed, a kitchenette and a good size bathroom.
The isolated location. Although some resorts are perfect for their central town location, we like it here at the end of Grace Bay Beach, where the beach is wide and relatively empty. It’s not really isolated as there are places to visit and eat within walking distance, but we do enjoy the serenity and peacefulness down this end of Grace Bay Beach.
Included in your rate:
Daily continental breakfast, weekly cocktail reception, non-motorized water-sports (kayaks, Hobie Cats, snorkel gear).
Rates from: $271 per night, double occupancy
4. Gansevoort
Part of the Gansevoort Hotel Group, this Turks and Caicos Resort is an uber cool change from the classical and modern resorts on island. Sleek and minimalistic lines and decor set with the island's Turquoise colors throughout paints a calming and serene air in resort.
Why we love it?
So Chic. If you want to be part of the “It” crowd, then this is your resort. Stylish guests and celebrities are seen chilling out on the pool’s islands and beachfront pods.
Island Pods. To be one of “them” reserve your own pod around the pool and bask in the sun with continuous service at your fingertips.
Included in your rate:
Daily full breakfast buffet, property-wide WiFi and cruiser bicycles to get you around the island.
Rates from: $353 per night, double occupancy
5. Villa Del Mar
A modest 4 star resort that will surprise you with its charm and elegance. Nestled just behind Grace Bay Club in a great central location, you loose the high price point with being just off the beachfront, but keep all the same luxury amenities a 5 star property offers.
Why we love it?
Luxury for less. Who doesn’t like paying a low rate for a 5 star experience which is certainly what you get here. The staff will know you by name by the end of your stay and you will come to feel part of the Villa Del Mar family we have come to love.
A small intimate resort within walking distance to the hub of Grace Bay let’s you enjoy daily strolls to Giggles for ice cream and sunset cocktails at the Caribbean’s longest infinity Bar.
Included in your rate:
Daily continental buffet, property-wide WiFi and complimentary beach service.
Rates from: $179 per night, double occupancy
